My tree is up, and this means that I have officially started my Christmas shopping. ‘Tis the season for giving after all.
Our family tradition is that we gift each other our main presents to open in the morning around the tree. Followed by smaller, stocking filler gifts in the evening around the table. This is normally a mixture of personal and funny gifts. Along with lots of games that we can play in the evening. As a family we don’t play board games enough, and Christmas is all about switching of technology and having a laugh.
This year me and my family are off to the Isle of Wight, we have rented a big house for one week. I am so looking forward to nice beach strolls in the day, followed by cosy evenings around the fire pigging out and watching festive movies.
To present my family’s gifts this year I picked up these alphabet Christmas sacks. They look so festive and I am absolutely useless at wrapping so they make for much prettier presentation.
For my dad, I picked up this BaByliss mini grooming kit to help with his hairy nose and ears…this is never a good look! My dad is a big fan of the pub and loves nothing more than a pint of beer. So, I also bought him this Beer Pong game, I’m sure he will have lots of fun playing it with my brother and uncle on Christmas night.
Last but by no means least my brothers. My brother Freddie is going backpacking around South East Asia very shortly after Christmas. So, to help him on his travels I picked him up an alphabet toiletry bag. Like my dad, Fred loves the pub, so I picked him the Pub Quiz game to play after a round of beer pong.
My youngest brother loves his food and is a massive spice fan, so I picked him up the Chilli Challenge. Being a teenager, there will be times he might get sick of spending a week with his family, so to help pass the time I got him the Boredom Box which is a selection of all the classic games.
