A Day In The Life Of @hannahfgale

One of our favourite bloggers @hannahfgale shares her daily routine and what she likes to wear day to day. Whether it’s looking chic for meetings, feeling her best in simple sportswear or accessorising with lots of layers of gold jewellery, find all the inspiration you need below.

“I usually wake up anywhere between 5.30am and 7am (thanks, toddler) and after an hour or so of drinking tea, watching Hey Duggee and playing with trains it’s time to get ready for work. My usual go-to is something that flirts between comfy and dressed-up, so I can look professional for meetings but still feel relaxed. Usually, that’s something like a midi dress, blazer and trainers, or maybe a pair of mom jeans, shirt, trench coat and ankle boots.”

“I like to accessorize with layered gold necklaces and am obsessed with hair accessories at the moment - I love a statement headband or a few sparkly hair slides to disguise how much dry shampoo is really in my hair.

Before I leave the house I get my little boy changed too - I love dressing him in animal print and bright colours. A go-to combination at the moment is leggings, a long-sleeved vest and a snuggly jumper. I am all over these lace-up leopard boots whilst the weather is still chilly!”

“I usually spend the morning writing, replying to emails and editing photos, either from home or my local coffee shop, and around once a week I’ll head into London for events and to meet PRs from brands.”

“I’m not one for exercise (after a lifetime of being 10/10 awful at sport) but I find swimming and yoga both hugely help my sense of wellbeing and mental health so I try and go a couple of times a week. I keep it simple in black or dark grey leggings and a hoodie.”

“The afternoons are usually spent shooting images for my blog or Instagram, or sometimes heading out on play dates or to soft play. As soon as we’re home I’m always straight in my pyjamas. I light some candles, turn on all the lamps and make the house feel like a real cosy retreat from the world.

My boy goes to bed at 7pm, and I like to spend a couple of hours in bed either ticking off a few last minute work bits, watching Netflix or reading a book, before falling asleep just before 10pm. These striped pyjamas are so silky and soft as well as being super cool, they’re a yes from me!”
