I love that the trousers suit can be styled up for an evening look or dressed down for a daytime look with trainers and a slogan tee like I've done here. It's also a perfect two piece for smart office-wear!
The trench coat's a great transitional piece to take you from Summer through to Autumn; it's light enough to wear on its own and loose enough to allow you to layer up a jumper or two underneath on milder days.
A breton top is one of my wardrobe staples - they can be worn with anything from jeans to smart trousers to a leather mini and are perfect for layering in the Winter. I love that this one has 3/4 length sleeves too, it makes it just that little bit different.
These grey tailored trousers are the perfect fit! They look really lovely with a trench and some court shoes, as I've done here, or paired with trainers and a white tee for an off-duty casual look.

We noticed there was quite a lot of demand for petite clothing on the high street, so decided to do something about it. We’re launching our very own Petite collection to give you access to a full range of clothing that won’t leave you sizing down to try and make something fit better or spending precious time in the morning worrying about your look!
We caught up with our influencer friend @whatemmadid to get the inside scoop about what works and what doesn’t. From buying to styling, we’ll pick out those staple pieces to help you find your petite style. Emma from What Emma Did answered our questions to help you with your summer outfits.
"To really elongate my lower body I love a high (or fitted) waist! Whether it’s skinny jeans, pencil skirts or dresses with a waist belt, a fitted waist gives the illusion of longer legs and cinches you in at the same time – essential for any petite girl."
"Stay away from prints that are too fussy - anything with too much going on won't flatter shorter body types. Instead, opt for flattering designs which elongate the body, like vertical stripes or subtle checks. If you can, try and pair shoes with bottoms that are the same colour to lengthen your legs. For example, black heels with black tights or bare legs with nude shoes."
"Avoid wearing clothes with a high neck – an easy but elegant V-neck blouse makes your upper body look longer and leaner. Wear it now with a high-waisted skirt or short shorts, then easily transition into autumn with trousers and a cropped jacket. Getting clothes with the right fit and size is even more important for short women – ill-fitting clothes will add extra bulk!"
We should all embrace our size and shape, but sometimes finding flattering cuts to really make you feel your best can be tricky. To make life easier for you, we recap our top three tips for petite women this summer -
