Sintra is a definite must-visit. Pena palace in particular is absolutely beautiful. Ursa beach was my very favourite place we visited, it's a bit of a hike to get down there (wear sensible shoes!) but so, so worth it. Food wise, I'd try and squeeze a visit into Leo for some delicious Indian food.
Plan your outfits! I'm terrible for taking ridiculous amounts of clothes and jewellery (I've been known to accidentally have six pairs of shoes in one case) but if you know exactly what you're wearing beforehand you'll find you take up a lot less space in your case, which means more room to bring back terrible souvenirs, huzzah!
· A good swimsuit. One of my favourites at the moment is the black harness swimsuit.
· A pair of denim shorts! They're just as good for a day of exploring as they are for a day at the beach. I love embroidered detailing.
· Sunglasses. I love the pop of colour the cateye aviator sunnies.
Maxi and midi dresses are great for this! They're perfect to wear to the pool or beach with a little straw hat and sandals, and then can be dressed up at night with some big earrings and a pair of heels or flatforms (plus the floatiness of them is always good for disguising paella induced food babies). I love the chevron print maxi.
Oh so many! Australia is right up there, as is Italy; I'd love to hire a car and drive right along the coastline. Last, but not least, Canada!
