Our new collection’s just landed, so we asked Debbie Le of @TheFashionablePan to give us a style master class on summer dressing. Choosing her three hero dresses for the season, she gives her spin on occasion dressing, shows us her holiday must-haves and spills her tips on getting extra wardrobe mileage out of any frock.
“As a self-proclaimed dress obsessive, I love nothing more than being in a gorgeous frock. A dress can be anything from the perfect throw-on-and-go piece to something that transforms you into a glam goddess for a special occasion.”
Whether it’s holidaying abroad or here in the UK, this floral chiffon mini dress is a suitcase essential. The dress has a slip and can be worn casually as a day dress with sandals or trainers, while it’s also great on the beach/by the pool as a cover up. This straw backpack is a great size to travel with and will look so stylish with any holiday outfit. The studded pink sandals are super comfy and are smart enough for day and evening meaning you can just pack these and pack light! I'm dreaming of wearing this while sipping cocktails on a rooftop bar or by a pool - anywhere!
This tiered midi dress is super versatile and the print, colour and length makes it a great transitional piece. Wear alone with these fabulous croc mules, which look high end and add this black grab tote for a chic daytime look. Alternatively, layer with this logo sweater and oversized camo print jacket ready for when the temperature drops. This dress would also look amazing over a long sleeve knit with ankle boots or a chunky cardigan or blazer with trainers for that effortless street style.
This ditsy floral midi is just the perfect shape, style and colour. The midi length, short sleeves and frilly hem makes it a great dress to wear for a special occasion such as a wedding, christening, garden party or even date night. I’ve added the straw basket cross body bag and red mules to complete the look, as the bag adds a bit of boho chic and the red shoes compliment the pink of the dress. I’ll be wearing this after summer with fresh white trainers and a khaki coat for when autumn hits. I know I won’t be able to keep it just for special occasions!
