I bought a pair of skinny jeans which fit terribly, very loose. So thought I’d go with the “super skinny” better fit but still poorly fitting compared to other brands that I have bought. The jeans are loose throughout the legs and thighs. These a standard jeans and should not be called skinny. Disappointed.

Perfect fit if you are after tight but stretchy jeans. My partner loves them.

(I returned as had bought 2 pairs of skinny's online, so overall jeans review) They're such Great quality, Matalan has been my go to shop for the last many years for jeans. I have noticed a tiny difference only recently, which is the waist sizes have altered though, for eg: own a 346" waist pair from a yr(ish) ago and went to try new ones and no way near fit (even if my waist has changed size in a year, it was a 4inch size difference, and I was still able to wear the 34inch waist previously bought, so even so that'd be some generous stretch haha), so seems there's a slight change in size the waist or possibly the 'stretch allowance' , that said that's nothing but a number though. They're still excellent quality jeans, so simply get right pair to fit and they're good to go for many years. So a massive 5 star review for the incredible quality and excellent long life of these jeans, will definitely be keeping Matalan as my main go to store for jeans.
