Not flattering at all

Unfortunately it's not very flattering, it's got an elastic around the waist that makes a waistline look bulky, especially from the back..
Maybe it would look better if I went a size down, but won't even try to exchange, it's a straight return.
Also, I'm 5'5" and leg comes to the ankle not mid calf as on the photo.
