What’s the first thing you do when you arrive in Florida?
Unpack! I can't live out of a suitcase. I have to get all of our accessories out, so we can see what choices we have for beach and evenings out.
Give us some insider tourist tips – the best places to eat, soak up the sun and discover in Florida?
We go to Florida for the theme parks and amazing
beaches. Disney is a must! Betsy is 7, so she's the perfect age. Disney
Springs has a couple of great restaurants that are kid friendly. STK for
an evening out or if you like seafood – I can recommend The Boathouse.
Describe your holiday style?
My style is quite relaxed. Denim shorts and t shirt during the day, maxi dress in the evening. It's very hot in Florida, smart/casual is the perfect look.
What is your favourite swimwear look?
I adore a colourful one-piece or a high-waisted bikini.
How do you
stay feeling confident in on the beach?
I try and keep myself
active, so my weight doesn't get out of control – I love my food! I love a one-piece
swimsuit and nice beachy accessories.
How do you accessorise poolside?
Sunglasses, large floppy hat, colourful beach bag and sandals. I love pom-poms! I like bright colourful accessories..
What’s your top tip for mums on holiday with their kids?
Make sure there is plenty for the kids to do to keep them occupied. This doesn't mean endless excursions. Pack pool toys and fun craft things for them to do if you’re staying at your hotel or apartment. Try not to keep the kids up too late, they will be grumpy the following day – it's not worth it! Grumpy tired kids ruin the holiday fun!
