Too small. Not wipe clean. Despite claiming to be machine washable, has come out misshapen.

I purchased this presuming it was a normal change mat like previous ones purchased from Matalan. However this is smaller, which is fine for a tiny newborn, but not as baby gets bigger.
Also it is topped with fabric which means that, when baby poo gets on it, it is not wipeable. Multiple changes a day, sometimes poonamis, means this mat is not fit for purpose. Another example of trying to make everything more eco friendly that has been poorly thought through.
Label states mat is machine washable, However it came out of the wash misshapen and I will now have to purchase another, normal, change mat.
