If for any reason you are not satisfied the quality of your School Uniform, simply return it within 100 days with proof of purchase for an exchange or refund at any Matalan store. This guarantee is in addition to our standard returns policy set out [here]

This guarantee applies to Matalan own brand School Uniform and excludes footwear, PE Kit, coats, accessories and school essentials such as socks, tights and underwear.

The guarantee covers manufacturing defects and workmanship for a maximum of 100 days from the date of purchase. If you ordered the item on our website, your 100 days guarantee starts from the day you received the item. The guarantee does not include the following:

•accidental damage;

•deliberate damage or misuse;

•normal ageing or wear and tear;

•loss of or damage to accessories;

•damaged caused by foreign objects or substances not normally associated with the item of clothing; and

•any loss suffered as a result of not being able to use the garment

This guarantee is only valid upon the presentation of a dated proof of purchase at a Matalan store. Any item returned to a store will be examined by Matalan and if it’s found that there is a defect in material or workmanship (and the defect was not caused by an exception outlined above), Matalan will, replace or refund the product.

Your legal rights are not affected.

We are offering extended exchange for selected items of School Uniform bought from us. This extended exchange offer is in addition to our standard returns policy.

Provided that we have the relevant products and sizes in stock, we will exchange items of School Uniform for an alternative size even if you are returning the item of School Uniform after 28 days of purchase (if you bought the items in store), or after 28 days of you receiving the items (if you ordered them online). Items must be returned with the original receipt, unworn and in the condition they were purchased, including all labels, tags and packaging.
