Whatever Christmas brings this year, Lucy Jessica Carter is determined to make it extra special for her family. It’s her 11-month-old twin girls’ first Christmas, so it’s the perfect excuse to get them all dressed up. Today, Lucy’s picking her favourite pieces from our brand new baby collection, chats Christmas Eve cuteness and tells us how she plans to go all out on Christmas Day.shop baby
I really enjoy dressing the girls up all year round, they look so cute! But, this is their first proper Christmas, so it’s definitely an excuse for me to go all out. As they’re twins, I like to dress them in either identical or co-ordinating looks. Outfits that complement each other always look so adorable, and these gorgeous little red sets are just perfect. They’ve got matching red and white blouses, while the reindeer print on the leggings matches the reindeer on the cute cardigan too.
“Two packs are great for twins as it provides great value and the items usually co-ordinate perfectly.”
I love co-ordinating my own outfits with the kids, mixing and matching prints and colours for us all to wear together is so much fun. Checks and tartan are some of my favourite festive ones. I love the fact these outfits are glamourous but still comfortable. For the girls, I’ve paired their outfits with socks and patent shoes, it’s completely adorable! This is my perfect Christmas Day look, the leggings are stretchy and fit really well and the white blouse feels luxe without being too showy. I’ve gone for heels to add even more of the glam factor but I’ll likely switch to festive slippers by lunchtime.
“Matching monochrome is a more understated choice for Christmas, and it always looks stylish.”
