Footwear essentials

From top to toe, your wardrobe should have a wealth of essential pieces you can call on at any time. It can be easy to discover these items when it comes to both your top and lower half, but when it comes to the toe, some people struggle. A classic design, our selection of men’s desert boots is a great place to start when it comes to must-have shoes.

The inspiration

Originating from the chukka boot, desert boots can be identified by their rubber soles and typically suede upper. A popular item of footwear since the 1950s, this is a style that was originally worn by British soldiers who embarked on the Western Desert Campaign during WWII – hence the name.

Styles and sizes

Ever popular, finding a pair to fit you shouldn’t be a problem. Coming in both real leather and suede, in colours including grey, brown, beige, blue and black, our boots start in a size six and go up to a size 12.

Daytime

A chameleon of a boot, there’s no particular time when these shouldn’t be worn. This is what makes them a footwear necessity. When it comes to the daytime, these can be worn for work to give you a slightly smarter edge when paired with jeans or trousers. Particularly popular in the summer, these can be matched perfectly with chinos for a suave and sophisticated finish.

Night-time

Helping to add a dapper slant to your clothing, these aren’t as formal as a boot or as laid back as a trainer. This is what’ll make them your go-to shoe for heading to a nice restaurant or even drinks with mates. Pair with fashion trousers or a slim leg jean with a shirt or polo top, and you’re on to an outfit winner.
