Our autumn collection has just landed, so we asked influencer and working mum of two, Debbie Le AKA @TheFashionablePan, to pick her must-haves for the season. We also chatted about all things style, including her go-to looks, wardrobe essentials, style inspiration and how to look amazing in a hurry.
“My style is quite polished, yet fun with a nod to the trends. I love classic looks but I’m never afraid to add the season’s prints and colours, fashion should be fun and about exploring different styles.
After such a long lockdown I’ve been dying for all the new autumn trends and styles to arrive. The top of my shopping list? A great coat, cool sweater, heels I can wear with everything, a day to night dress and new gym gear.
Check out my style tips, go-to looks and must-have buys for autumn. Happy shopping!”
“A smart pair of trousers teamed with some killer heels and a nice top is my signature style for sure, but I always like to give it a new season spin. A classic knit with feature sleeves has been a must-have on my autumn shopping list. This super cool puff sleeve style looks so luxe, a half tuck and ruched up sleeves gives it a new fashion spin, which I love. These trousers are such great fit and they’re jogger style so would also look great casually with boots and trainers.”
“My friend Mick, one of my biggest fashion influences, once gave me the best style advice; He told me to let your clothes do the talking, always get dressed up and look the part, and most importantly, rock what you wear with confidence. It’s a style mantra I live by. I love to look polished and put together. You can't go wrong with a classic tailored coat for bringing a look together and adding a chic finish. Every Autumn a new coat is top of my shopping list and this gorgeous style ticks all the trend boxes. I love the shape, the deep red colour will go with everything, and will naturally shift your wardrobe into the autumn vibe.”
“Even when I'm working out I like to feel ‘put together’ so when it comes to fitness gear I choose matching sets as they’re guaranteed to always look good! This matching sports bra and leggings set really caught my eye, I love the abstract print and the fit is super comfy and stretchy. The leggings are high-waisted and sweat wicking, which is important as they don’t roll down and will keep me dry as I’m working out.”
“I have so many shoes, it's the one thing I have that I hoard. For me a shoe really makes an outfit. I often choose what shoes I’m wearing first before I choose any clothes. I have shoes dating back years! My style hasn’t changed drastically over the years, except now I can’t wear skyscraper heels. These black heels are amazing for feeling a little dressier. They’re the perfect heel height and are so comfy, plus they really elevate the look and elongate your legs which is never a bad thing for me.”
“My daily looks vary depending on my mood and what plans I have, I tend to either decide my outfits the day before or pick what I wore the previous day up off the floor if I’m in a rush! Invariably whatever I wear has to work as well on the school run as it does for a meeting or a dinner out. Dresses have long been my go-to when I'm in a hurry, making this floaty long sleeve midi dress an absolute must-have. It’s such an easy piece to throw on and the colour, print and shape are so versatile. I love the long gathered sleeves and how it fits making it the perfect working from home dress, plus it’s pretty cool for the school run too! I’ve styled these super comfy biker boots for the daytime, and for a night out I’d switch to a blazer and black heels. As a final touch, this cross body bag is chic and a great size both for the day and evening.”
