Here’s what’s cracking this easter: a table set up made for celebrating in style. We caught up with interiors influencer Geraldine Tan AKA @LittleBigBell to chat through how to brighten things up with colour combos and decorating tips.

First, pick a maximum of three core colours, so the table is nice and colourful without being too busy. I adore spring and all the gorgeous pastel tones, so I’ve picked yellow, mint and pink for my table which all work perfectly to compliment my home decor too.

Easter decorating should be fun, colourful and kitsch, but that doesn’t mean it can’t also be stylish. Embrace the fun factor with bunnies, bees, sunshine yellow chicks and gnome table toppers, making sure to use the three key colours you’ve chosen for your table. This will ensure it all works together harmoniously.

I like to use placemats to frame each place setting and fresh or dried flowers as the centrepiece is always a winner. I lay out the themed decorative accessories on either side of the flowers to add fun and interest. Go all out or choose a few key pieces and mix back with your day to day crockery and cutlery.

Not being able to celebrate with loved ones is tough, so organise a Zoom family get together. A fun idea could be to send out the same easter table decor that you’ve selected in a gift hamper, with simple instructions on how to style the look. Then it would feel like everyone is sitting at the same table during the celebration.
