Winter Wonderland Outfit Ideas

The weather is turning colder, the nights are drawing in, and that means it’s time to get excited about all the festive events that will be popping up in your diary in the next few months.

There are Winter Wonderland events happening all over the country, and there’s no better way to get set for Santa and countdown to Christmas. But how do you know what to wear? The event could be indoors, outdoors, or both, it could be in a marquee or in the open air, with so many variables, your outfit needs to cover all bases.

But don’t worry, read on for our top tips for outfit ideas that are perfect for wearing to a Winter Wonderland event.

Layering is key

When you’re heading to a Winter Wonderland event, you’ll want to make the most of the experience, wearing lots of layers so you’re prepped for every moment. Wrap up warm with your jacket, hat and scarf when you’re outdoors, and take them off to reveal your cosy knitwear and layered tee underneath when you’re inside and need to cool off.

Ice-skating appropriate

If you’re planning to hit the ice-rink, you’ll need some comfortable clothing that you can move in. Why not choose some loungewear or leggings, they’ll keep you warm, look super stylish and be easy to move in too. Don’t forget to pack a pair of thick fluffy socks to wear with your skates too.

Weather Appropriate

The great British weather is notoriously unpredictable, so make sure you’re prepared with a waterproof layer, or at least an umbrella you can whip out if the weather takes a turn.

Cross body bags and backpacks

And finally, you’ll need a handy bag to keep your essentials close to hand, but you’ll want to be hands-free too! Choose a practical cross-body bag or backpack to store all your bits and pieces, and keep your hands free for photos, and a mulled wine of course.
